SOLE SOURCE – PROCUREMENT OF MINI-FIELD SEGMENT

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division, is seeking to procure a Mini-Field Segment, Part Number RJMIFS50023, in support of the JANUS Engineering Development program. The proposed contract action is for the supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Raytheon Company. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. * The procurement is for a specific part number, RJMIFS50023, in support of the JANUS Engineering Development program. * The contract action is restricted to one source, Raytheon Company, due to the lack of sufficient technical data and other factors. * The proposed contract is anticipated to be awarded under FAR Part 15, contracting by negotiations. * Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
