DEL‑Fairgrounds Grandstands Resurfacing Project - Delaware County

The Delaware County Agricultural Society is seeking qualified contractors to reconstruct and resurface the pavement surrounding the grandstands at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Work includes removal of existing asphalt, excavation of subgrade, placement of granular fill, installation of geogrid reinforcement, and placement of asphalt‑concrete base and surface courses, plus tack‑coat application. The contract is a unit‑price bid with a performance bond equal to 100 % of the contract price, a bid bond of either 100 % of the bid or 10 % cash, and prevailing‑wage requirements. The project must be completed by September 4 2026. • Scope: Pavement removal, subgrade excavation, granular fill, geogrid, asphalt base and surface, tack coat. • Quantities: Approximately 1,250 sq yd pavement removal, 208 cu yd excavation, 796 cu yd granular fill, 2,413 sq yd geogrid, plus additional quantities for Grandstand sections (4‑inch & 8‑inch reconstructions). • Requirements: 100 % performance bond, 10 % or 100 % bid security, prevailing‑wage compliance, insurance minimums, one‑year warranty, liquidated damages $400/day for late completion.
