Radio Redesign Integration and Test Effort

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source Delivery Order (DO) to Raytheon Company for the integration of the redesigned Integrated Single Box Solution (ISBS) radio into the Tomahawk All-Up-Round (AUR). The scope includes hardware and software development, changes to meet new requirements, test, qualification, Special Test Equipment (STE) updates, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) updates, release to production, and National Security Agency (NSA) Information Assurance (IA) certifications. • The contract is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. § 3204(a)(l) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1. • Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of Tomahawk, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience, and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement. • Subcontracting opportunities should be sought directly from Raytheon.
