Professional Geological Services

The Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation (SSLGC) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified professional geological firms or individuals to provide ongoing geological consulting services in support of SSLGC’s wellfield operations, groundwater monitoring, and water supply development. The selected professional will assist SSLGC in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting long-term groundwater resource management, and providing technical expertise for well siting and development projects. Some key responsibilities include groundwater monitoring and reporting, wellfield development and hydrogeologic services, groundwater resource management, and general consultation. • The selected professional will provide services for a minimum of one year, with the option to renew annually for up to four additional years. • The professional will assist SSLGC in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting long-term groundwater resource management. • The professional will provide technical expertise for well siting and development projects. • The professional will prepare and maintain quarterly and annual groundwater monitoring reports. • The professional will review and interpret water level and quality data from SSLGC production wells. • The professional will evaluate trends and prepare recommendations regarding aquifer conditions and well performance.
