Procurement Exemption for Integrated LGBTQ+ Youth Services and Emergency Hotline

Pierce County is seeking a provider to offer LGBTQ+ Youth Services through an integrated service model. The provider must be able to offer services tailored for and targeted toward LGBTQ+ youth aged 11 through 24 years old, including youth leadership development, mental health services, peer support and mentorship, advocacy services, education services, and systems navigation assistance. The contract is expected to have a maximum term of 2 years and a maximum cost of $1,000,000. The key requirements for the provider include: • The ability to provide all services in a manner specifically tailored to LGBTQ+ Youth ages 11 through 24. • The ability to provide programming at least six days a week, including after-school programming during the week. • A safe, secure, and welcoming walk-in location that is easily accessible via public transportation. • The ability to provide a 24/7 emergency hotline specialized for LGBTQ+ Youth. • The ability to provide an integrated service model that combines leadership development, advocacy, peer support & mentorship, systems navigation & emergency assistance, and referrals.
