Manchester Subdivision Storm Drainage Improvements - Advertisement for Bid

The City of Byron is seeking bids for the construction of stormwater improvements in the Manchester Place Subdivision. The project includes erosion and sedimentation control, clearing and grading, drainage installation, demolition of existing improvements, and site restoration. The work must be completed within 240 days of the notice to proceed, with a final completion date of 270 consecutive calendar days. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 14, 2026. The project will be managed by GWES, LLC. • The project includes major storm drainage piping, headwalls, inlets, manholes, and outlet control structures. • The project requires the installation of 20 LF of 72” RCP, 20 LF of temporary 54” RCP, 3,438 LF of 36” ADS HP storm pipe, 126 LF of 18” ADS HP storm pipe, and 1,298 LF of 18” HDPE. • The project will be managed by GWES, LLC, located at 733 Carroll Street, Perry, GA 31069. • The Instructions to Bidders, Digital Bid Forms, Contract Agreement, Drawings, Specifications, and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be obtained upon payment of $200 from GWES.
