Tabor City Business Incubator - Phase 2

The Town of Tabor City is seeking bids for the Tabor City Business Incubator - Phase 2 project. The project involves improvements to the 1st floor of an existing commercial building at 110, 114, and 118 West 5th St in Tabor City, NC. The improvements include adding breakrooms to Units 114 and 118, epoxying the concrete floor in each unit, adding insulation above the 1st floor of Unit 114, and adding light switches, among other improvements as described in plans and specifications. • The project is partially funded by the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) with a grant of $500,000. • Bidders must comply with the SCRC "Construction Project Provisions" and additional instructions included in the project bid documents/specifications. • The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"), Pub. L. 177-58. • The Town of Tabor City is committed to increasing the use of Small and Minority/Women owned business and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for Construction Projects.
