conduct an investigation to develop the Main Electronics Box (MEB) concept

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking a contractor to conduct an investigation to develop the Main Electronics Box (MEB) concept for the Stratosphere Troposphere Response using Infrared Vertically-resolved light Explorer (STRIVE) mission payload. The contractor will define electrical, thermal, mechanical, and flight software interfaces that meet the requirements for the STRIVE mission payload. The investigation will last for 8 months, and the contractor will provide various deliverables, including a MEB development schedule, MEB specifications, and a MEB user's guide. The contractor will also support technical exchange meetings, reports, and reviews. • The mechanical form factor of the MEB will utilize the Sensors Unlimited standard 1280JSX Enclosed Camera form factor or equivalent. • The thermal requirements of the MEB will include a temperature range of -10 °C to +50 °C operational and -20°C to +50°C survival. • The voltage input range of the MEB will be +28 VDC to +34 VDC. • The MEB will support various interfaces, including RS-422, LVDS SpaceWire, and power interfaces. • The contractor will provide engineering support for 4 hours per week after all deliverables are complete.
