EAST HIGH STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids for the East High Street Streetscape Improvements project. The project aims to improve the transportation network for bikes, pedestrians, buses, and cars along East Market Street, 9th Street, and East High Street. The project includes water, sewer, and gas utility relocations, underground duct bank construction, and traffic signal upgrades. The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, equipment, labor, and materials to complete the work as described in the specification/scope of work. • The project has a fixed completion date for Interim Milestone #1, which is January 27, 2028. • The project has a total duration of 660 days. • The contractor must submit all required insurance and bonds prior to commencing work. • The contractor must pay all sales, consumer, use, and other similar taxes for the work provided. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids.
