Riverside Police Department Headquarters - Demolition & Earthwork and Shoring

The City of Riverside is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing Riverside Police Department headquarters and perform all associated earthwork, grading, shoring, and site‑preparation activities to enable construction of a new police‑department building. The scope is split into two bid categories: BC01 (Earthwork & Shoring) with an estimated value of $2 M and BC02 (Demolition) valued at $1 M. Work includes complete removal of existing structures, hazardous‑material abatement, utility cut‑offs, installation of temporary fences, toilets, SWPPP measures, traffic‑control, and the construction of permanent shoring and backfill to a certified basement pad. The contractor must hold a California Class A or C‑21 license, provide a 10 % bid bond, and furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds.
