Safe Streets For All Construction Project

The Safe Streets For All Construction Project is a demonstration project that aims to enhance the safety on five County Roads in Boone County: Camp Ernst Road, Hicks Pike, Litton Lane, and Rogers Lane. The project includes high friction surface treatments, guardrail replacement and installation, sign installation, and ditching. The primary completion date for the project is November 30, 2026. • The project will follow the current edition of the Kentucky Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. • The awarded bidder will be responsible for providing a Performance Bond of 100% and a Payment Bond of 100% of the awarded bid amount payable to the LPA. • The project requires the bidder to maintain insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Auto Liability Insurance, Workers’ Compensation, and Employer’s Liability. • The bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations having jurisdiction over this type of work.
