T-38 Wingtips

The US Air Force is soliciting a proposal for the purchase of T-38 wingtips. The requirement includes 66 left-hand wingtips and 64 right-hand wingtips. The solicitation is being conducted as a sole source to the original manufacturer, Northrop Grumman Corporation Systems Corporation. • The proposed price should be fair and reasonable. • The offeror should submit certified cost or pricing data and supporting attachments in accordance with the instructions contained in Table 15-1 of FAR 15.408-2. • The offeror should provide a comparison of the physical characteristics and functionality of the comparable commercial product and the subsystem, component, or spare part. • The offeror should notify the Contracting Officer in writing if it does not sell a comparable commercial product to the general public or nongovernmental entities for purposes other than government purposes.
