Description
The City of Marietta is seeking bids for the Upper Er Sanitary Sewer Improvements-Phase 2 project. The principal items of construction include the installation of 2,450 LF of 12" DIP sanitary sewer, pipe bursting of existing 8" and 10" pipes to 12" HDPE sanitary sewer, and the replacement or rehabilitation of 26 sanitary sewer manholes. The project also includes bypass pumping and site restoration.
The following are key aspects of the project:
• 2,450 LF of 12" DIP sanitary sewer installation
• 532 LF pipe bursting of existing 8" pipe to 12" HDPE sanitary sewer
• 811 LF pipe bursting of existing 10" pipe to 12" HDPE sanitary sewer
• 60 LF of 24" steel casing installation
• 26 sanitary sewer manholes to be replaced or rehabilitated
• Bypass pumping and site restoration
The project is open to public inspection, and only bids from contractors who have received plans and bid documents from the engineer will be considered.
