Description
The State of Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the roofs on three park facilities at Daisy State Park (Pavilion, Park Residence Assistant Superintendent, and Bathhouse Area A). The work includes complete removal of existing roofing materials, installation of new synthetic underlayment, architectural shingles, flashing, vent ridge, gutters (removal or re‑installation as required), fascia and drip‑edge replacement, skylight framing, painting of exterior woodwork, and application of an insecticide additive. The contractor must attend a mandatory site visit, obtain any required permits, provide a performance bond if the contract exceeds $50,000, and complete the work within 60 days of award while providing a one‑year warranty.
• Remove existing roofing, skylights, and gutters; install new underlayment, Class‑3 impact architectural shingles, drip edge, vent ridge, and flashing.
• Replace or repair fascia, drip‑edge lumber, and paint to Olympic Range Green (two coats of BEHR Premium Plus Ultra semi‑gloss).
• Perform work on ~8,750 sq ft total roof area across three buildings, meeting all safety, permitting, and bonding requirements, and submit a full bid package by 6 Feb 2026.
