The City of New York is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, blend, and deliver liquid salt brine (23.3 % NaCl) with optional GeoMelt 55 additive and corrosion inhibitor for the Department of Sanitation’s road pre‑wetting and de‑icing program. The contract is an indefinite‑quantity “Requirement Contract” covering a two‑year period with the possibility of annual price adjustments. Deliveries are required six days per week to multiple storage sites across all five boroughs, with higher‑volume deliveries during the snow season.
• Supply up to 2.4 M gallons of standard liquid salt brine plus additives (GeoMelt 55 and corrosion inhibitor) annually.
• Deliver to 36 designated DSNY storage locations (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island) six days/week, with potential night or holiday deliveries.
• Provide required documentation with each delivery (SDS, COA, Manufacturer’s Certificate) and quarterly usage reports.
• Must complete PASSPort registration, submit a 48‑hour‑early bid, and comply with NYC local law and safety requirements (e.g., liquidated damages for late delivery).
