Notice Type: Synopsis of Contract Action –REPAIR OF F-22 RAPTOR OVERHEAD CRANE MECHANISM

The United States Air Force Test Center/Directorate of Contracting (AFTC/PZZG) intends to issue a sole source contract to East/West Industries, Inc. to provide crane repair parts at Edwards AFB, CA. The contract will be for the repair of the F-22 Raptor overhead crane mechanism. The required parts include a chain drive assembly, decal, hook and plate assembly, and protective boot snatch. The period of performance is 180 days from contract award. • The contract is for a sole source award to East/West Industries, Inc. • The required parts are compatible with the current overhead crane system in place. • The contract will be executed by means of other than full and open competition. • Vendors who believe they can meet the requirements should submit a complete technical package.
