Portneuf Watershed Restoration Planning

The City of Pocatello is seeking a firm to assist with the Portneuf Watershed Restoration Planning project. The project aims to complete a watershed restoration plan for a section of the Portneuf River, including conducting an assessment and current condition inventory, working with the Portneuf Watershed Partnership to develop desired goals and outcomes, and writing an implementation plan. The selected firm will have a 12-month contract term with options to extend based on the grant term and availability of funding. Key aspects of the job include: • Stream restoration planning • Assessment and current condition inventory • Collaboration with the Portneuf Watershed Partnership • Development of desired goals and outcomes • Writing an implementation plan • Experience working in a local government setting and with Federal regulations is preferred.
