Rubberized Single Chip Seal Project

The Town of Franklin is seeking a construction firm to furnish and apply a Rubber Chip Seal Surface Treatment on properly prepared bituminous streets within the town. The project is estimated to cost $389,000 and will involve applying a 20% Asphalt-Rubber Surface Treatment on various streets, followed by an immediate application of aggregate. The work will be paid for at the contract unit bid prices, which will constitute full compensation for all materials, labor, equipment, etc. • The project is expected to start in Spring 2026. • Bidders must be pre-qualified with MassDOT for PAVEMENT - SURFACING for the amount of the Estimated Construction Cost. • Proposals are due on April 24, 2026, at 9:10 AM. • All inquiries regarding this IFB should be directed to the Town's Purchasing Officer, Pam Vickery.
