Description
The City of Newport is requesting bids for the construction of the Gardner Park Siphon Upgrade project. The project includes the installation of new sewer mains, sewer services, and sewer manholes, as well as the installation of a new sewer siphon via Horizontal Directional Drilling under the Clyde River. The project is funded in part through the ARPA CSO Grant administered by the Vermont Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
* Key features of the project include:
* Installation of new 8” and 12” PVC gravity sewer main
* Installation of new 4” PVC sewer service
* Installation of two (2) new 5’ diameter sewer manholes
* Installation of one (1) new 6’ diameter doghouse sewer manhole
* Installation of new 8” HDPE sewer siphon via Horizontal Directional Drilling under the Clyde River
* Approximately 904 LF of CIPP for existing 12” AC gravity sewer and 91 LF of CIPP for an existing 8” CI gravity siphon under the Clyde River
