Description
The USDA Forest Service is intending to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to LI-COR for the purchase of an IRGA and Biomet system. This equipment is essential for monitoring carbon and water fluxes in a long-term study on the effects of prescribed fires on water quantity and quality and carbon in the Piedmont of North Carolina. The contract has a fixed price of $69,957.00 and is expected to be delivered within 30 days of award issuance. The equipment requirements include an IRGA with specific technical specifications, a Biomet package with various components, and software for the standard Biomet package.
• The IRGA should have a calibration range of 0 to 3000 µmol mol-1 and an accuracy of within 1% of reading.
• The Biomet package should include a data acquisition module, data retention module, backup biomet battery, pre-configured biomet enclosure, and other components.
