Description
The US Navy is seeking a sole source contractor to provide OEM valve automation and controls MOV service. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and tuning all related motor operated valves onboard the USNS Richard Byrd. The contract will be a firm, fixed price contract, and the government anticipates awarding a single contract to the quoter whose quote is considered in the best interest of the government. The contractor must provide all necessary tools and equipment to perform the work and must follow all safety procedures and protocols.
• The contractor will inspect, test, and tune all related motor operated valves onboard the USNS Richard Byrd.
• The contractor will provide training, troubleshooting, and assistance as needed to the ship's force.
• The contractor will perform an operational test of all motor operated valves to ensure they are installed correctly and functioning properly.
• The contractor must provide a report to the MSCREP and Chief Engineer detailing conditions found and recommendations.
