Impound Lot Storage & Auction of Vehicles

The City of Flint is seeking a vendor to provide storage services for vehicles held in the municipal impound lot and to conduct the subsequent public auction of those vehicles. The contractor will be responsible for secure, organized storage of impounded automobiles, maintenance of an inventory system, and the orderly execution of vehicle auctions in compliance with local regulations. This includes handling all paperwork, collecting auction proceeds, and delivering final reports to the city. • Securely store impounded vehicles on city‑owned or leased property. • Manage the full auction process, from vehicle listing to final sale. • Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, storage duration, and auction results. • Ensure compliance with municipal and state regulations governing impound and auction activities. • Provide regular status updates and final financial reconciliation to the City of Flint.
