West 60th Avenue Roadway Improvements (Sheridan Blvd. to Wolff St.) - 15-ST-18

The City of Arvada is seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the construction of West 60th Avenue Roadway Improvements from Sheridan Blvd. to Wolff St. The project includes widening the road, updating driveways, roadside parking, new pavement marking, and traffic signs. The contractor will be required to perform the work in accordance with the Contract Documents, which include the Advertisement for Bids, General Terms and Conditions, Special Terms and Conditions, Insurance Requirements, Project Special Provisions, and Addendum. • The project requires a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount. • The contractor must submit a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and meet the minimum insurance requirements set forth in the Contract Documents. • The contractor must complete the work within 60 working days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must pay liquidated damages of $1,400 for each calendar day that the work exceeds the allotted contract time.
