The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for right of way property management. The scope of work includes demolition of improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the right of way and/or easement areas. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supervision, and services to complete the demolition project. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. • The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class. • The contractor must provide a bid price for each parcel. • The contractor must begin work as soon as possible after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must complete all work within 30 days from the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price. • The contractor must maintain insurance coverage throughout the duration of the work.
