Description
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for agricultural farming services on State-owned property located within Washington County State Recreation Area. The lease is for approximately 67.40 acres in 2026, 111.30 acres in 2027, 111.30 acres in 2028, and 111.30 acres in 2029 and 2030. The annual value to the State is estimated to be $1,166.02 for 2026, $1,925.49 for 2027, $1,925.49 for 2028, $1,925.49 for 2029, and $1,925.49 for 2030. The annual value to the vendor is estimated to be $36,139.82 for 2026, $70,307.25 for 2027, $72,290.26 for 2028, $59,773.39 for 2029, and $70,307.25 for 2030.
• The vendor must provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and insurance for a farming operation.
• The vendor must guarantee lease payment by prepaying the full amount of rent or providing an irrevocable letter of credit.
• The vendor must pay all leasehold taxes on the leased lands during the lease term.
• The vendor must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance documenting all required insurance.
• The vendor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, ordinances, regulations, orders, and license and permit requirements.
