2025 Geotechnical & Environmental Services

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a professional geotechnical and environmental engineering consultant to perform soil borings, pavement cores, laboratory testing, and associated work at various locations throughout the city. The selected firm will be awarded a contract for a fixed amount, and the city will request work as needed. The contract term is 2 years. Key services include performing soil borings, preparing boring logs, and conducting laboratory testing. The city reserves the right to award the contract to the most responsive and responsible bidder. • The contract will be for geotechnical and environmental services. • The city may request environmental drilling or direct push drilling at sites of known or suspected contamination. • The selected firm must comply with all applicable EPA, ASTM, MDOT, and City Standards and Specifications. • The city does not guarantee a minimum volume of work or a specific volume of work if a contract is awarded. • The city reserves the right to reject any proposal that it determines to be unresponsive and deficient in any of the information requested for evaluation.
