Description
The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the 2026 Street Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Program. The work includes furnishing and installing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to resurface or rehabilitate streets or roads as listed. This includes utility cover adjustments, water gate box lowering and raising, tack coat, shim, and overlay; driveway preparation and lawn and driveway restoration; pavement removal, common excavation, aggregate base gravel; erosion and traffic control and cleanup.
• The bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price.
• The bid must be submitted to the Deputy Director of Budget & Purchasing, City Hall, 27 Pine St. Lewiston, ME 04240.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on 02/18/2026 at 9:00 am via Zoom.
• The bid opening will be held on 3/3/2026 at 2:00 PM in the Admin Conf. Room/Zoom Meeting.
