Reconstruct Access Road Repackage Project

The project involves the reconstruction of the Eastern GA Access Road at the Boulder City Municipal Airport. The work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to complete the project, which involves reconstruction of the access road using asphalt pavement, minor electrical upgrades, a new actuated gate, relocation of the underlying waterline, and a retaining wall to accommodate the new roadway alignment. The project is expected to be completed in one phase, and the contractor will be required to coordinate their work closely with Airport Operations. The contractor will also be required to implement and continuously maintain an active program of containment and regular cleanup of construction debris and trash. • The project requires the contractor to work in close proximity to operating aircraft. • The contractor must maintain certain operational requirements and coordinate their work with Airport Operations. • The contractor will be required to provide a Safety Plan Compliance Document (SPCD) in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-2G prior to starting work on the project. • The contractor will be required to protect all existing marking, lighting, signs, and visual NAVAIDs that are not called out for demolition in the contract drawings. • The contractor will be required to maintain taxiway safety areas to grading standards outlined in AC 150/5300-13B. • The contractor will be required to submit and receive approval of FAA form 7460-1 before using a crane, pile driver, or other tall equipment on site.
