Description
The County of Ontario is seeking bids for the replacement of the County Road 36 Bridge over Honeoye Inlet. The project includes the construction of a new concrete 3-sided frame bridge, full depth roadway reconstruction, guide rail installation, and other incidental construction necessary for completion of the project. The contractor will be responsible for providing temporary erosion control measures, clearing and grubbing the highway right-of-way, maintaining and protecting traffic, and locating, preserving, and protecting existing utilities.
• The project requires the removal of the existing bridge and the installation of a new bridge, wingwalls, and backfill.
• The contractor must construct embankment slopes, reconstruct the existing road, and install asphalt concrete pavements and shoulders.
• The project also includes the laying out and applying of permanent pavement markings, installation of guide railing systems, and turf establishment.
• The contractor must perform all work in accordance with the contract documents, technical specifications, and plans.
• The contract term is "Until Complete", and the county reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
