The County of Chester is seeking a qualified contractor to (1) rehabilitate existing County Bridge #196 and (2) construct a new County Bridge #326. Work will be performed at Bertolet School Road over French Creek in Spring City, PA. The bid must be submitted electronically via the Public Purchase system by 11:00 AM on Nov 25, 2026. A pre‑bid conference/site walk‑through is scheduled for Nov 6, 2026 at 9 AM; attendance is strongly encouraged but not mandatory. Bidders must provide a bid guaranty of at least 10 % of the total bid amount (cashier’s check or approved bid bond) and, if awarded, a 100 % performance bond and a 100 % labor‑and‑materials bond, together with a one‑year warranty.
