Description
The Forest Hill Nature Center is seeking a contractor to build a new nature center. The project involves the installation of acoustical ceiling panels, suspended ceiling grid, and relocation of mechanical grilles, registers, and diffusers. The contractor must review and verify all dimensions and notify the Architect of any discrepancies. The project requires compliance with the interior finish requirements of MBC 2021 §803 and the installation of acoustical materials in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
• The contractor must provide matching suspension for the acoustical ceiling panels.
• The grid work must be supported with a minimum of 1-12 gauge hanger wire to structure above at 4'-0" o.c. each way.
• The contractor must locate mechanical grilles, registers, and diffusers in the middle of the grid as indicated.
• The contractor must verify the layout with the Architect prior to proceeding with the work.
