Description
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking a small‑business firm to renovate the Powell duplex at the Nez Perce‑Clearwater National Forest. The work includes demolition of water‑damaged roof and SIP panels, removal of compromised structural members, and installation of new roofing, structural insulated panels, and all associated finishes, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. The contract is a total small‑business set‑aside with an estimated value of $250‑$500 k, and must be completed within roughly one year.
• Remove and replace existing roof, SIP panels, and damaged structural members; dispose of debris off‑site per federal and state law.
• Provide full‑scope construction services (structural, envelope, interior finishes, MEP) following Forest Service specifications and drawings.
• Work must start within 10 days of notice to proceed (≈ 1 Dec 2026) and be substantially complete by 30 Nov 2027.
• Must meet OSHA, Buy‑American, and small‑business compliance requirements; performance and payment bonds required within 10 days of award.
