Description
This solicitation is a small‑business set‑aside for the reconstruction of five forest‑road sites within the Nez Perce‑Clearwater National Forest, approximately 15 mi southeast of Grangeville, ID. The work includes culvert replacement (24‑in. and 72‑in. pipe culverts), mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls, special rock embankments, riprap placement, slope repair, earthwork, aggregate surfacing, erosion‑control measures, and associated temporary traffic control and signage. The contract will be awarded as a single‑award, sealed‑bid, firm‑fixed‑price contract with an estimated price range of $2‑5 million and a tentative completion date in Fall 2027.
• Replace multiple culverts (24‑in. and 72‑in.) and install riprap protection.
• Construct MSE walls and special rock embankments for slope stabilization.
• Perform earthwork, aggregate surfacing, and erosion‑control (fiber‑roll, geotextile, etc.).
• Provide temporary traffic control, signage, and related incidental construction services.
• All work is located across five sites totaling about 0.2 mi of roadway.
