J065--Patient Lift Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide patient lift maintenance services, including semi-annual inspections, annual preventive maintenance, and annual load testing, for approximately 500 patient lift systems at various locations in North Florida and South Georgia. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to perform the services. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a base period and multiple option periods. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring all lifts remain safe, operational, and compliant with OEM specifications and VA policies. • The contractor will be required to provide typed, legible inspection and load test reports, and to label each lift with the date of service. • The contractor will be expected to work after-hours and weekends as needed to avoid patient disruption. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies, including those related to safety, infection control, and security.
