ITB# 202602 Street Resurfacing

The City of Homestead is seeking qualified contractors for street resurfacing and related roadway improvements. The work may include milling, paving, and restoration of existing roadway surfaces, shoulders, and adjacent areas. The contractor must be familiar with FHWA documentation, reimbursement, and project management requirements. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years. The city intends to award contracts to multiple qualified bidders. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the work. • The contractor must maintain all work areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition at all times. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations governing labor, safety, environmental protection, and general operations. • The contractor must conduct all work so as not to close any public roadway or restrict pedestrian or vehicular traffic without prior authorization from the city and other applicable authorities.
