Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the right of way and/or easement areas. The selected contractor will be required to provide a performance and payment bond, and must comply with all applicable regulations and laws. The contract term is expected to be 30 days, and the contractor must begin work as soon as possible after receiving the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class.
• The contractor must provide a bid price that includes all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for completion of the demolition project.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable regulations and laws, including the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management.
• The contractor must provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
• The contractor must maintain insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability.
