Request For Information (RFI) U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) High-Hazard Waste Management

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC) is seeking information on hazardous waste disposal services. The center requires a qualified vendor to provide labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment for the planning, packaging, transportation, treatment, and disposal of waste contaminated by chemical or biological agents. The vendor should have experience in implementing environmental, safety, and health plans related to the transportation and disposal of chemical or biological agent contaminated waste. The RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. • The RFI is seeking information on company profiles, approaches to meeting the scope elements, experience and performance records, and capabilities statements. • The vendor should provide evidence of their ability to plan, pack, transport, treat, and dispose of agent contaminated waste greater than 1.0 Vapor Screening Level (VSL). • The vendor should also provide evidence of current or existing permits or approvals that demonstrate their ability to dispose of chemical agent contaminated hazardous waste without opening the container for sampling. • The vendor should discuss their experience in implementing environmental, safety, and health plans related to the transportation and disposal of chemical or biological agent contaminated waste.
