Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to sole source a consolidated contract for Ra-223 Xofigo Radiopharmaceuticals for Lebanon, Philadelphia, and VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The contractor will provide timely delivery of brand name only radiopharmaceuticals in the form of Xofigo, along with continuous inventory management services during normal working hours. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an estimated annual quantity of 1500 uCi for Lebanon, 1000 uCi for Philadelphia, and 1900 uCi for Pittsburgh.
* The contractor must be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and be regularly established in the business of providing Xofigo (Radium 223 dichloride).
* The contractor must provide a barcode labeled insert to allow scanning data into existing nuclear medicine information management system (NMIS) or other dose tracking system.
* The contractor must perform all quality control procedures as required by Federal and State regulatory agencies prior to shipment.
* The contractor must meet all Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Transportation, FDA, OSHA and all other agency rules and regulations (Federal and State).
