RFB - BNSF Peoria Subdivision Quiet Zone Improvements

NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for quiet zone improvements along the BNSF Peoria subdivision in Galesburg, known as Section 24-02201-34-RR for the Public Works Division. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., local time, April 22, 2026, at the office of the Purchasing Agent located in the Finance Department at City Hall, 55 West Tompkins Street, Galesburg, IL 61401; and at that time, publicly opened and read aloud in the Basement Conference Room, located in City Hall. Bid documents are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent and by visiting the city website at www.ci.galesburg.il.us. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids.
