BID NOTICE: ONE INDUSTRIAL MFWD BACKHOE LOADER

The City of Minot is seeking a single new industrial MFWD backhoe loader for its Water/Wastewater Department. Bids must be submitted by October 20, 2026. The contract may be awarded either as a straight purchase (lowest base bid less trade‑in allowance) or as a five‑year lease (lowest annual cost). The equipment must meet detailed specifications (minimum 28,000 lb operating weight, 131 hp diesel engine, 4‑speed forward, 3‑speed reverse, full power steering, ROPS/FOPS‑certified cab, 5‑year/3000‑hour warranty, etc.). Delivery is required within 180 days of award to the Public Works Building. The City will handle taxes, repairs, and parts inventory; a comparable unit must be provided if downtime exceeds 48 hours.
