Description
The State University of New York at Old Westbury is seeking bids for the repair of library ceiling tiles. The project involves removing existing warped wood Decoustics ceiling tiles, obtaining a sample matching tile from the manufacturer, and furnishing and installing new tiles with all necessary accessories. A mandatory site walk will be held on October 22, 2025, at 12:00 pm. Bids are due by November 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm. The contract term is expected to be six months.
• Remove existing warped wood Decoustics ceiling tiles
• Obtain a sample matching tile from the manufacturer for style and color match approval
• Furnish and install new tiles with all necessary accessories
• Provide shipping cost and install 70 tiles including hangers and leveling adjacent tiles as needed
• Comply with all applicable codes, laws, and regulations, including OSHA and National Fire Prevention Association standards
