Description
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) intends to enter into a single source contract with Siemens Industry, Inc. for the installation of card readers at the District 2, State Materials Office facility in Gainesville, FL. The contract includes the provision of materials and labor to install new access control security devices on four interior doors and two new security gates. The service also includes hardware and software for additional card readers, video intercom, and components for the new entry and exit gates.
• The contract is for a single source acquisition due to the uniqueness of the product and the vendor's ability to access the system programming.
• The price of the contract is $72,035.00.
• The labor and services will be performed during normal business hours (Monday - Friday / 8AM-5PM).
• The contract is posted in accordance with section 287.057(3)(c), Florida Statutes.
• Failure to file a protest within the prescribed time shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
