Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to replace the roof at the Marshall TSC facility, located at 15300 W Michigan Avenue, Marshall, MI 49068. The project includes removing existing asphalt shingles and EPDM roofing, replacing up to 5 sheets of plywood, and installing new drip edge, ice and water shield, shingles, and ridge vent. The contractor must also remove existing siding to replace roof flashing and then reinstall the existing siding. The project has a mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour on November 12, 2025.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Removing existing roofing down to the wood deck
• Replacing up to 5 sheets of plywood
• Installing new drip edge and ice and water shield
• Providing a unit cost for any additional plywood found damaged or not suitable for roofing over
• Removing existing siding to replace roof flashing and then reinstalling the existing siding
• Protecting the building from water damage during roof removal
• Cleaning up daily and protecting the building from water damage during periods of roof removal
