REPLACEMENT OF SEVEN (7) POWER SUBSTATION ROOFS

Metro-North Railroad is soliciting bids for the replacement of roofs at seven (7) Power Substation locations in New York. The work generally includes removal and replacement of existing roofing systems and associated construction work in accordance with the Contract Documents, technical specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and requirements. The contract term is approximately twenty-nine (29) months from NOA. Bidders must meet the qualification, insurance, bonding, safety, and other requirements identified in the solicitation documents. Subcontracting is permitted in accordance with the Contract requirements; however, the prime contractor will be required to self-perform the minimum percentage of work specified in the solicitation. Joint ventures may be permitted subject to Metro-North’s applicable requirements. This procurement is New York State funded and is subject to applicable New York State requirements, including MWBE and SDVOB participation requirements as identified in the solicitation.
