The City of Salina is soliciting a firm‑unit‑price bid to demolish the existing scale house and truck scale, and construct a new scale‑house building with two truck scales, parking lot, fences, utility infrastructure, and associated site grading and erosion‑control measures at its municipal solid‑waste landfill. The contractor will be responsible for demolition, earthwork, utility installation (HDPE drainage, water, sewer, electric conduit), new concrete pavements, signage, lighting, gate, bollards, and the complete scale‑house structure including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. The work must be substantially completed by 31 Dec 2026 and fully finished by 3 May 2027, with performance and payment bonds equal to the contract price.
