Description
The West Jackson County Utility District is seeking bids for the Old Fort Bayou Sewer Replacement Project. The project includes furnishing material and labor to perform modifications and improvements to the existing sanitary sewer system, including installing new gravity sewer main and associated appurtenances, installing low-pressure sewer main and associated appurtenances, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, installing sewer services, and all necessary site work to restore the project back to existing conditions.
• The project will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder.
• The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality.
• For bids equaling or exceeding $50,000.00, the bidder must indicate their Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the sealed proposal.
• Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.
