Description
The City of Albany is seeking bids for the Lift Station 77 Upgrades project, which includes replacing pumps, electrical components, and fittings, as well as installing 2,700 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary force main and 300 linear feet of directional boring. The project must be completed within 120 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The bid is for a unit price contract and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total base bid.
• The project includes upgrading the sanitary sewer lift station and installing new pipes and fittings.
• The contractor must visit the job site and familiarize themselves with the local conditions.
• The contractor must provide a 5% bid bond and a 100% performance bond.
• The contractor must maintain insurance with companies licensed to do business in the State of Georgia.
• The contractor must comply with all laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations applicable to this type of work.
