Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential sources for the provision of PM&R Recreation Therapy Wheelchairs for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, LA. The requirement includes the delivery of 10 specialty sports wheelchairs, with 6 being PER4MAX Thunder Basketball Wheelchairs and 4 being PER4MAX Thunder Radial 7000 Series Tennis wheelchairs. The contractor shall provide all manufacturer(s) warranties on all parts and labor at the time of delivery, with a 36-month warranty. The contractor shall also deliver operation and maintenance manuals, and coordinate delivery and installation with the On-Site Point of Contact.
• The wheelchairs must meet specific technical specifications and salient characteristics, including custom aluminum frames, rigid 5th wheels, and adjustable center of gravity.
• The contractor must provide a statement of capability, business size, and socio-economic status.
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
• The delivery timeframe is within 30 days of award, unless specified differently within the scope of contract.
