LiDAR Datasets Analysis for Aircraft Exhaust Plume Rise Behavior

The U.S. Department of Transportation's John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center is seeking a contractor to analyze LiDAR data and develop parameters for the validation of a revised plume rise algorithm. The contractor will be required to provide a firm fixed price quote for the following tasks: raw LiDAR dataset, processed LiDAR dataset, draft and final technical reports, and weekly teleconferences. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to AECOM. Key aspects of the job include: • Analyzing LiDAR data to develop parameters for the validation of a revised plume rise algorithm • Providing raw and processed LiDAR datasets • Drafting and finalizing technical reports on the LiDAR dataset and analysis • Participating in weekly teleconferences • Submitting all pertinent data and analysis documentation
