Description
The Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) is gathering market input for a potential public DC fast‑charging (DCFC) electric‑vehicle (EV) infrastructure project in Valdez, Alaska. Vendors are asked to submit a brief (≤3 pages) response describing their experience, products, ownership/operating models, technical capabilities, and any site‑specific considerations. The RFI is informational only; no contract is guaranteed.
• Target location: Valdez, AK – a key tourism and transportation hub.
• Scope: Development, installation, ownership, operation, and/or maintenance of one or more publicly accessible DC fast‑charging stations.
• Required response content: company profile, relevant cold‑climate EV‑charging experience, product/service description, preferred delivery model, technical specs (chargers, payment, communications), cost/schedule risk factors, site requirements, and recommendations.
